WHAT THIS IS
DefendersClock is a public cyber-risk weather station. Once a week it publishes a transparent, evidence-backed reading of the operational pressure defenders face — a 0–100 score, three signals, the three moves that matter most, and every receipt behind them.
The aim is simple: somebody calm, informed, and rigorous filters a week of noisy security news into an operating signal you can read in five seconds and interrogate for as long as you like.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
- Not a fear-driven breach counter or a doomsday clock.
- Not threat intelligence, and not incident-response advice.
- Not a prediction that any specific organization will be breached.
- Not a substitute for your organization’s own risk assessment.
INDEPENDENCE
DefendersClock is an independent, personal project. It is built from public sources only — no private corporate signal, data, incidents, or perspective, and no affiliation with or endorsement by any employer or organization.
Victims are never named before credible public disclosure. The reading may stay flat or improve; there is no drama quota. When a reading is wrong, the correction is published visibly — see the methodology.
